EduRecon is being developed by a network of coastal researchers, educators, students, and reconnaissance partners.
The initiative is hosted and coordinated by UCF CoastKnights under the leadership of Founder and Network Director Prof. Alexandra Schueller. The Steering Committee is chaired by Prof. Schueller, with Prof. Jens Figlus of Texas A&M University serving as Vice Chair. Representatives from participating partner institutions contribute to the network’s strategic development and coordination. Regional university nodes conduct baseline monitoring, reconnaissance, student training, and collaborative research within a shared framework.
